Zentra Talent is partnering with a technology organization expanding its regional engineering hub to hire an Engineering Manager based in Doha.

This is a key engineering leadership role for a practitioner who excels at the intersection of technical architecture, people development, and delivery execution. You will lead and scale software teams building resilient platforms across the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams while fostering a high performance culture and continuous learning.

• Technical Standards: Maintain high engineering standards across architecture, code quality, system reliability, and delivery pipelines.

• Delivery Execution: Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to drive tech roadmaps, optimize delivery processes, and ensure execution excellence.

• Cross Functional Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to bridge technical constraints with business objectives and product vision.

• Team Growth & Ops: Drive hiring efforts, establish performance frameworks, and manage talent development within distributed teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years of engineering management experience in tech environments.

• Technical Background: Solid foundation in building and scaling distributed systems, cloud-native setups, and microservices architectures.

• People Management: Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering talent across complex product domains.

• Technical Bridge: Strong understanding of modern software practices (CI/CD, Cloud, DevOps) to guide engineering teams effectively.

• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to articulate technical vision, delivery timelines, and engineering ROI to executive leadership.
